In front of our apartments there are a large number of leisure activities to be found. The offer ranges from active sports to relaxing quietly and taking it easy – doing just what you want to do. None of us do enough exercise! So off you go outside and breath in the fresh clean Carinthian air - as often as you can. Take advantage of the many possibilities of exercising outdoors, in fact the possibilities are as various as the surrounding countryside.
From running to Nordic Walking, from cycling to horse riding? Or would you rather spend time inline skating, playing tennis or golf, or just letting your soul recover while lazing around on the lake in a rowing boat. At last, holidays where you can spend time doing exactly what you have always wanted to do!
All those who want to exercise outside in the fresh air, have the ideal opportunity of doing their hobbies without having to go far away, and the perfect combination of bathing, sport and culture guarantee a varied programme for the whole family.
Both achieve the same effect, you can enjoy the wonderful natural surroundings and as you run past the beautiful countryside building up your strength, and getting rid of stress, step, by step.
You don’t have to walk or drive far to reach ideal routes for both running and Nordic walking, they can be found right outside the front door; along the side of the lake until you get to Klagenfurt, or in the in the other direction to Pörtasch or Velden. Walking through the forests and over the hills are also ideal places to refresh your lungs with clean fresh.
A sporty run through the forests is certainly a very special experience with Fritz, our cyclists have been introduced to him already, get rid of your stress while running. Fritz knows the best running tracks in and around Krumpendorf.
The quiet plashing of the lake For those who are looking for complete relaxation and want to do their body good at the same time, should have a ride in a rowing boat across the crystal clear turquoise green waters of the Wörthersee. You can hire rowing or electric boats nearby.
Golf Within 80km of our apartments nine of the most beautiful Golf courses in Carthinia, as well as two courses in Italy and one in Slovenia are inviting you to play a round.
From the highest golf course in Bad Kleinkirchheim, to the courses in the Carinthian Lake Region, or the Grado course on the Adriatic, these are all only a stone’s throw away. Because of the ideal climate found in these regions it is possible to play golf from March through to until November.
Skating Cycle Tracks und Skater Mile:
The cycle track leads around the Wörthersee; Hundreds of cycling fans and skaters cavort on the cycle and skater tracks that go through the middle of Krumpendorf from Klagenfurt to Velden around the Wörthersee, making stops and spending time at the inviting bays.

Riding stables that are nearby are the: Reitstall Knoll, Reiterhof Rösselgut and Reiterhof Gut Hallegg, none of them are more than a five minute drive away, they all offer lessons as well as guided rides outdoors.
A ride in a hot air balloon is certainly one of the most exciting experiences: floating with the wind and enjoying the fantastic views of the countryside. Ballooning today has become a very technical form of entertainment and, the availability of exact weather forecasts and extremely high safety standards have made ballooning -a far safer adventure.
For those of you who like to see the Wörthersee and the surrounding countryside from above, without the help of an engine can register for a balloon ride. The balloon ride starts in ideal weather conditions quite close to our house.
The Wörthersee is visited by both divers, and those who would like to become one. The Atlantis Diving School in Krumpendorf offers ranges from “short trial courses”, courses for school children and teenagers, to specialised courses for obtaining an International Divers Licence.
